Songs! (Jolene)

So I have a question and I need an answer so here it is...... why do people put bad words in there songs if they know that people are most likely to listen to the clean version or just not listen to it at all! Cause people don't like bad words very much, well I know I don't!

    Jo...most people, if you didn't notice about EVERYBODY IN OUR SCHOOL, swears. So, why not just listen to a song that swears 49 times? They just don't know any better.
